Bursaries to attend IUPAC 2019 Congress and General Assembly in Paris

The Royal Society of Chemistry is offering a number of bursaries for emerging career researchers to attend the next IUPAC World Chemistry Congress and General Assembly in Paris, from 5-12 July 2019.

Each bursary offers up to £2,000 towards the cost of travel, registration and accommodation. The deadline for applications is Monday 12 November 2018.To apply, you must be a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and resident in the UK or Ireland.

Periodic Table of Younger Chemists: Mo, W, Te, Sr

Today, four more elements in the Periodic Table of Younger Chemists were announced. This is an initiative in celebration of the 100th anniversary of IUPAC. We congratulate!

- Molybdenum: Mirabbos Hojamberdiev, Senior Researched, Uzbekistan-Japan Research Center of Youth, Uzbekistan

- Tungsten: Nir London, Senior Scientist, The Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel

- Tellurium: Emden Sanganyado, PostDoc, Shantou University, Zimbabwe

- Strontium: Markita Landry, Assistant Professor, University of California, USA

IYCN at EuCheMS 2018

IYCN is pleased to announce that a group of our members will attend the 256th ACS National Meeting & Exposition, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, 415 Summer St. Boston 02210.
